E-commerce Payment Processing with Real-time Account Updater

Returning shoppers on an ecommerce website sometimes does not maintain the latest card information like updating the expired credit card, removing the closed credit card and updating it with a new card. This results in failed transactions leading to poor user experience and resulting in abandonment of the shopping cart. To solve this issue, popular payment processors provide a solution called Real-time account updater; this feature helps to keep customer account information up to date in real-time. It ensures that recurring payments, subscriptions, and other financial transactions continue to be processed without interruption, even when a customer’s account details change (such as a new credit card number or expiration date).
