A Review on Book Recommendation System

Abstract

Recommendation systems are used to suggest items to buy or look at. They direct clients to products that can meet their needs by narrowing down a large database of information. A recommendation system is a software that suggests comparable items to a buyer, based on previous purchases or preferences. Recommendation system inspects large information of products and arranges a record of those items which would satisfy the necessities of the consumer. These days, most e-commerce organizations are utilizing Recommendation systems to attract purchasers to buy more by offering products that the purchaser is probably going to choose. Many organizations use Book Recommendation System to recommend books to clients so that they will be enticed to buy, because they are coordinated with his/her decisions. The difficulties they face are to channel, set a requirement and give recommendations which are precise. For suggesting things, a different strategy has been established, in which content, collaborative, and association mining techniques are used. In this study, we are going to use the collaborative filtering to recommend books to the clients. The Pearson Correlation Score is the algorithm we will be using to find book recommendations in the database.
