Agriculture plays an important role in people's lives. This provides an adequate food supply for humans. This project deals with the agricultural marketing process of India and Nepal, where farmers live in rural areas and struggle to earn a living despite their hard work from dawn to dusk. In the distribution aspects, traditionally, farmers depend on intermediaries for their production, resulting in reduced income and a limited market. After harvest, limited access to market information, underdeveloped transport system, political insecurity, middlemen, financial instability and lack of courage to take risks make it difficult for farmers to ensure the delivery of products to markets. Lack of knowledge and extent of product storage also creates disadvantages for farmers. This puts them in a situation where farmers have no choice but to sell the produce to middlemen who have better access to distribution facilities at a much lower price. Therefore, this project aims to ensure a fair price for the farming community by designing new techniques and using the online market. This project focuses on an application that serves as a platform for selling agricultural products from farms or from the distribution house to consumers or retailers directly. The developed website offers privileges to farmers and consumers to buy and sell the required agricultural products without the intervention of an intermediary at their correct profitable price. In this research, the development of an online marketplace is presented that serves as an ecosystem for farmers and their respective customers to achieve meaningful and efficient exchanges. A business-to-business (B2B) electronic commerce platform is developed for agriculture. CSS and HTML are used for font development, while the Python-based Django framework was chosen for back-end development. Based on the results, Django has proven to be an efficient, user-friendly, and user-friendly web framework for the e-commerce platform.
