Abstract

In today's world, home automation is very popular. With the help of the Internet of Things, we can control our safety and take precautions if an unknown person arrives with weapons such as knives and firearms (IOT). A thief's intrusion can cause problems for the homeowner. The innovative and insightful use of PC in IOT has resulted in the safety of person and home. The objective is to improve this framework using image processing for object recognition. The machine utilizes cameras at the entryway for the faces known so as to get entry. Furthermore, vibration and entry gate magnet sensors have been installed at the passage point to detect when a robber or killer attempts to rob inside the house. PIR sensors are used to detect human presence. A vibration sensor is also used to provide an alert if a nearby shock is detected. The system permits access only to authorized individual like proprietor or registered person to access the database. The person may be recognized by providing legitimate proof of identity. If it does not recognize the individual, it sends an alarm to the owner, who may then follow the activities via a live stream from the camera. All sensor signals are validated, and the system’s status is regularly updated. If a criminal attempts to break in, the sensor activates, and alert messages are sent to the owner and the police for their protection.
