Multi Cloud Infrastructure Automation using Terraform (IaC)

Abstract

Cloud computing solutions can solve the major problems that the startups face and hence help them sustain and grow. At the beginning, mostly startups face problems like: lack of budget (one of the key factors in making the startup the success), location of team (employees maybe living in different cities or states), team instability (variation in team size). The global pandemic of COVID-19 has also affected startups deeply. According to Economic Times, after surveying 250 startups led to the revelation of the fact that 70 percent of them claimed to have their business affected and some of them ceased to operate as impacted by the pandemic of COVID-19. We are using multi cloud technology that can efficiently and effectively solve the problem discussed above. We are using infrastructure as code to set up infrastructure that will prove very helpful for startups. This will also automate the process hence saving time by speeding up the process of setting up infrastructure, it is also cost effective and efficient. This infrastructure can be used by the Developer to deploy the web application developed by him that can be managed and scaled automatically. Thus, this provides us an infrastructure that is automated and has Less Human Interaction which makes it more reliable. Since the infrastructure is deployed on multi cloud the cost borne by the startup is also minimized as the company has to pay the operational cost only, so it is startup friendly.
