Abstract

A database is just an area used to store and manage data (of any kind of information). The database engine can sort, modify, or provide information in the database. The information itself can be stored in various ways. Before digital computers, card indexes, printed books, and other methods were used. There are different kinds of databases in the market and all of them serve their different needs which shall be used for our different requirements. Let us understand the different types and aspects of the database we shall keep in mind while selecting the database.
