Abstract

The simplest meaning of cloud computing can be defined using three statements i.e., hosted on the internet, developed on the interest and access via internet. Cloud provides on-demand access to all the resources as per the requirement by the users. These services provided by the cloud are on paid basis, so everyone wants to use them. The main issue faced by the provider is to evenly distribute the load across all the nodes in a network. As the demand for a particular node increases, it eventually increases the load on the nodes. Load Balancing is a technique by which we could balance the load and distribute it for a proper usage of resources. The aim of this paper is to analyze the advantages and limitations of different load balancing algorithms.
