Abstract

This review work aims to assess the influence of digital marketing and examine its significance for both consumers and marketers. It begins with an exploration of the concept of digital marketing, followed by an elucidation of the various platforms utilized in digital marketing. Furthermore, it draws attention to the distinctions between traditional and digital marketing, outlining the advantages, disadvantages, and the crucial role of digital marketing in contemporary times.The global landscape is undergoing a paradigm shift from analog to digital, and the field of marketing is embracing this transformation. The increasing pace of technological progress is driving a growing adoption of digital marketing strategies, encompassing social media marketing and search engine marketing. Notably, the escalation in the number of internet users has significantly contributed to the success of digital marketing, as it heavily relies on online platforms. Additionally, there is a discernible change in consumer buying behavior, marked by an increasing inclination towards digital marketing as opposed to conventional marketing approaches.
