Smart Parking System based on IoT

Abstract

In India, the number of automobiles has expanded considerably in recent years. As a result, parking has become a delicate and even more serious issue. Due to the increased traffic and pollution, drivers travelled everywhere but could not readily locate parking. Students are unable to find parking places for their vehicles. In this study, we offer a practical IoT-based parking system that allows users to effortlessly monitor, manage, and reserve their parking lot from anywhere. With the use of ultrasonic sensors installed in the parking zone, there is a simple online system that can monitor all the vacant parking circumstances. The ultrasonic sensor identifies the location of the parking places and sends the information back to the server, where the online system receives the information.
